To Whom It May Concern:
This statement serves to clarify and give notice of the activities of the Board of Directors for PFLAG New Orleans, a duly registered and established non-profit organization existing and operating in the State of Louisiana. Between 2019 and 2020, three board members were eligible for re-election to the Board of Directors pursuant to the provisions of the PFLAG New Orleans bylaws but no such election was timely held and those members continued to serve beyond the conclusion of their terms. The consecutive terms of one additional board member extended both before and after the institution of term limits within the bylaws of PFLAG New Orleans and may have exceeded the limit of consecutive terms specified therein. As a result, each of these board members will be subject to re-election at the 2020 General Membership Meeting and will voluntarily serve truncated terms. /s/ Wayne Christenberry President /s/ Alberto Oliver Vice President |
